Tbh i can setup my loadout etc in the very first window under "aircraft".
Here I save my preset as desired and can fire it up in each mission a free preset is allowed and of course in MP. I got much more probs setting up a fitting convergence for canons. ATM my canons are useless, as far as i am not 10m in front of the enemy ac. I prefer shooting from 100-50 tbh.

Yes I have problems saving the ammo belt profiles.
When I go under Options/planes and set a specific ammo belting for a specific plane and save it under a specific name.... this preset is gone as soon as I leave this screen and go back into it again.  Puzzles me how to configure a specific ammo belt for continuous use
