Might have something to do with when you are zoomed in (like in shift-f1 mode) it seems to restrict the movement ability (try using padlock view when zoomed in to see it) and you cant view past certain angles.

Oh, sorry, forgot to mention: FreeTrack  But I doubt that this is FT related. I of course have own profile for CoD which is the same as for old Il-2 except with all axes toned down as it seems CoD seems to translate the axes with more sensitivity. In some planes, especially roomier ones like He111 I don't have this detent. Quote:
