Give it a try, it might work for you too.
Hmm, I only have a 1/48 Spitfire available. Do you think that repeating your ritual with that one may have undesired effects? Another problem is that it's a Mk Vb - but most recent movies have used Mk V:s for BoB so it may work? Could it have the effect that the channel fighting 1941-42 module arrive before BoB?

I think that the number of increasing questions regarding updates is a problem that has been created by 1C/Maddox games themselves. No updates for two months after the statement below got to produce a negative response from a community (especially as we are hopefully now in the "close to beta" time frame)?

"...Here we begin to post development news of BoB.... some time, but not so rare... I hope once per 2-3 weeks or so .... and more close to beta - each week like in old good time with IL-2..."

Sure, there have been so many similar posts now with questions about why the updates have stopped, but everyone does not come here daily so they may not find the relevant information in all the "noise"... With the statement above as a sticky at the top of the forum you got to ask who's got the ball really?

Feuerfalke I do not intend to start arguing with you. I just wanted to point out that YOU shot the messenger when a person asks for when an update will come. Why is this question regarding an update not allowed?? It is not a demand and certainly will not speed up the coming of the update. So what is the problem??
Why have you had enough of people asking for updates? How can that in any way damage the game or this forum?? And I say again it is not a demand it is a question..

Just becaurse you have had enough does not give you the right to disrespect other peoples opinions or posts. This forum is not about flaming other people when you think they are in the wrong!
Oh.. And by the way if you did not understand the word bashing then it means: to attack physically or verbally

Ironically, you keep bashing me, personally, HenFre, though you keep posting, that this is not a place to do this...

I don't shoot a messenger, I don't bash people and I don't flame them for posting questions.

What I do and I honestly really love to tell over and over again, that I want to move things into perspective.

And I so much like to tell that especially YOU, because after reading and answering personally to all my replies, you still think like mazex, that the only one responsible for this is 1C/Maddox, which is plain so damn wrong, that it makes me laugh every single time.

If anybody at all is responsible for the lack of information it's UBIsoft. And considering that, it makes so little sense to post these questions, demands, threats, etc over and over at this forum, instead of writing to UBI. Has anybody of you even considered writing UBI a mail? Contacting their Support? Dropping a petition at their door? No? Why not? Considering the threads here and on UBIzoo, there gotta be thousands of people gladly joining your march and I'd be the first to sign in.

Again, don't get me wrong. I'd like to see some information, too, but you guys are knocking in the wrong door here.

What do you think you gain by insulting people? I just don't get it...

If something was explained about 30 times here and frequent posters still post it wrong, it IS funny. I didn't draw conclusions from it and didn't post them, but the fact alone is funny to me. But of course you can also take it as a personal insult, if you want.
Question is, did you draw conclusion what I might have concluded, so you can take it as an insult or is the pure fact that somebody thinks otherwise and doesn't join the march offend you?

You answered it yourself. You just don't get it.

Just as you just did, mazex, because there are apparently a lot of people posting here, who just don't get it either.

I agree, we were told that updates/news would come more frequently but we just get the occasional 3D models. Like i have already stated some of the big selling shops around here such as 'Game' have looked into SOW and have told me that they can find no information on it at all other than the old release dates, they believe that the whole project must of been shelved or scrapped. Again i doubt that this is the case but if a big company like 'Game' are telling this to customers then its bound to raise questions. Some people have even had their pre-orders refunded from online gaming stores, the speculation has to whether this sim is dead can only be addressed by a few parties who are genuinely in the know. These people in my opinion should be doing all they can to keep us all on board and up to date, after all we will be their customers, so it seems a very strange marketing tactic to give so little info away if the sim is anywhere near completion. If you do a Google search for Storm Of War there is nothing official from anybody. I personally think that the sim is a very long way off completion and if we see it before 2010 i will be happy.

Well we usually get the answer that the developers are too busy to post updates, but really,it would take 2 minutes to do it.

NOTHING official?

This is one of the first links I get from google, a 3 seconds search and all of this information is official, though part of it is translated to German in this thread.
