ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA - it's irrelevant. This patch is their 6+ month work culmination and we all want to see the results. They promised +50% performance increase and a lot of us don't event get any FPS boost at all. The game actually runs worse overall considering some of the FPS related features are actually shortcuts/cuts (low res cockpits, sparse grass, low res terrain, clouds).

No improvements here, the first beta in october was more smooth for me. No comments about how the game looks after more than 6 months (landscape first of all), but it's clear to me that Luthier does care less than nothing about CoD and The Battle of Britain. Sorry, really, to say this but...CoD is a joke, a bad joke.

About debugging? This is a matter for the fanboys team.

Personally i report (confirm) only this one:

Got the same launcher.exe crash as before the patch. Took all the described steps, cleared cache, applied patch.

Mem usage slowly builds up, till 2,72 gig, then ctd.

Sent an email with the dxdiag and dmp file to the devs.

cheers,

I think you've hit the nail on the head with this comment. The devs hearts have never been in this project. The Battle of Britain holds no interest for them and CloD is now only a vehicle that carries them to BOM.

I saw black square cartridges sometimes, specialty at mid/long range, can be slow texture management.

ok something more:

no 109E4 version anymore (only 109E4/b and 109E4 B)

-i was playing online on ACG and suddenly, as i was crossing the channel, my plane disappeared completely mid air.

-ground textures:i use to have them on medium, but as soon i installed the patch, i put them on high to see whether there is a performance increase....well, after this disappointing try, i put them back to medium again, and they still appear very sharp.certainly way better than before the patch.the question now is, whether the devs have improved medium ground textures, or if the video settings menu is bugged, and im not able to reduce the textures again....

Well i played it for about 4 hours. Resulting comment is.. This is a PACIFIER PATCH. As others have stated there REALLY isn't any EYE POPPING results. I personally can't see anything that jumps out at me. Performance is the same TBH.

So i don't know really. I understand that it is a BETA patch and tbh the funniest thing was that in the abridged read-me MOST of the items that were/are responsible for fps loss are not included.

So in my eye's its 6mths of well....nothing
It appears that all the work seems to be funneled towards BOM. And where getting the wet end of the stick till the AMAZING ALMIGHTY BOM arrives

So yeah PACIFIER PATCH ftw.. Well done Luther and co.. Give us something to shut us up till the smoke clears LOL.

Wonder how long it will take for the REAL items to be included THAT actually makes a difference....

Regards

Some new graphic glitches off the coast of Le Havre:

Looks like if a large portion of the channel have decided to move in land.
