It's back to ROF then. I'm starting to forget why I bother with COD. I know it's only a beta release, but how long has this patch taken to be delivered? And for what?

I usually buy every IL2 release as soon as it's released, and COD as the Collector's Edition (which cost $AUS120). I think I'll wait way after BOM is in the discount pile, if at all.
Yeah i agree sad days CLOD is really starting to wear thin on me now but like you said its back to ROF and look forward to the new content.

Thumbs down

how the HECK did the launcher ctd get past software assurance? I mean come on, it ruined the whole patch, it is not minor, it's the killer of COD... I can't speculate, but it is almost if someone wanted it to fail... if it is happening to 90 percent, if not 100% of eveyrone, then it's inexcusable... Someone really really really really totally totally royally epically failed..!

Black sceen/red square on startup
Low res. instruments
Spit throttle (1a&2a) not properly calibrated in game
FPS similar/marginally better all round
CTD's offline cured.

Cache cleared & game files defregged before patch. I5 2500k Sandybridge/ 570GTX/16gb DDR3.

This patch was clearly described as an ALPHA and installation was completely voluntary, anyone bitching should consider that. Judge on the Steam release but use this processs and thread for improving the game.

Is it Alpha or Beta? Name of thread says "BETA". Come on, Luthier, your sense of humor is little bit over the edge.....

ALPHA, BETA, GAMMA - it's irrelevant. This patch is their 6+ month work culmination and we all want to see the results. They promised +50% performance increase and a lot of us don't event get any FPS boost at all. The game actually runs worse overall considering some of the FPS related features are actually shortcuts/cuts (low res cockpits, sparse grass, low res terrain, clouds).

No improvements here, the first beta in october was more smooth for me. No comments about how the game looks after more than 6 months (landscape first of all), but it's clear to me that Luthier does care less than nothing about CoD and The Battle of Britain. Sorry, really, to say this but...CoD is a joke, a bad joke.

About debugging? This is a matter for the fanboys team.

Personally i report (confirm) only this one:
