Ok I extracted Bob and Core seperatley into their folders . hopefully that works. Edit : Nope that didn't work either . DamBit ! Are you telling me that everyone on this sight installing the patch is extracting every folder sereatley into all their respective folders ? Am I doing the right thing by selecting over write files?

S!
Pencon, simpliest way is just to extract the package then COPY the PARTS folder that appears and drop it in the IL-2 Folder under STEAM |

You open archive and open game folder. Then you check folder names to see where which folder is located inside game folder. Then merge folders inside game folder with folders from the archive by dropping the latest to the game folder.

Good improvement for me, now FPS drops to about 20 only over London, but it is playable.
The game is finally fixed for me. Now it needs more content... |

You mean I have to extract every single file and folder from the patch to the game folder files seperately? You'd think they could make it a little more simple for us noobs. I know I'm gonna screw this up . Black 6's instructions on page 1 says "Just install into the mainfolder , he doesn't say extract every folder seperately .. This is pretty confusing .....

Not every single file but 2 folders that you find in the archive.
