Did you read my little tutorial? It's EXACTLY what you are looking for. As I stated, you don't need a Test Runway anymore. In fact, adding a Test Runway just makes things more complicated. Possibly, in trying to initially find a solution, you added a Test Runway. Now you seem to be 'married' to the idea of using one, when in fact you really don't need it. However, if you want to add a simulated runway for 'looks', you can use Test Runway 3 and your planes will not explode. (See screenshot) Good luck. Aviar

Hi guys,
thanks for your replies ! Seems like I explained a little badly. Yes, I know I don't need a test runway for simply placing a home base. Yes, I want to use the test runways for aethetic purposes just as I was about to build parts of the pit and visitor area, just for the immersion. Apparently I need to go from concrete to metal runways or find another spot for the the airport all together.
