No, I think it is a common misunderstanding by many people. The way (method) the visuals are 'rendered' is being re-worked; all colours, contrast, bloom, reflections, shadows etc etc will stay the same - unless those values are specifically changed, in this case, it is not the intention of doing so.
It will look exactly the same! Only it will be much more efficient and for us this means more FPS!
