Default Transferring Control of Troops - How Does That Work?

How does one "transfer control" of troops from one co-op person to the next? AND, does this method of reinforcement also apply to MP?

sorry for late-ish reply

there's a button in the upper-right corner

and no, MP, you have your own reinforcement point pool that is not shared with your teammates. It also gains points at a rate that's not variable to control points.
