Hi bers,
Ideal!  Just one small point, as I think others might encounter the same problem. The directory data put into the registry was "D:\Program Files\1C\Fantasy Wars". I initially got the same "not found" error as before on trying to install the editor until I had a look at what had gone in.. once I changed that to the C:\ drive where the game actually installs itself (my only hard drive) it worked OK. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it.
