What is activate/paste console

activate console- not strictly needed (unless you measure fps by typing in a command- just like IL2)
paste console- dunno- mine is blank
only have 1 exit game (alt F4) -2 does sound rather strange

i changed my mirror to cntrl m. this is useful as just like IL2 it's an fps killer. Unlike IL2 CoD doesn't 'remember' your previous state so you start with mirror on by default.

Hopefully that's enough to get you going on joystick file- then you can get flying

Yes I remember that console, so yes I would want to have access, so I will go ahead and assign a key for it.
I will also re-assign a new key for the mirror, just strange that the default install had the m key assigned to two different funtions. I know when manually setting, the sim won't let me assign a duplicate. MG going a little out of bounds there I guess
Yes, very strange in how my default install in fact does have two listings for exit game!! I will delete the key assignment for one of them - and just use that same key assignment for my activate console command. Heh he I be smart...

Fyi - When I deleted the key command Alt X for the second " exit game" , which was right below the first one showing Alt F4 - when I hit delete for the keypress, it deleted the whole duplicate command - so I was left with just one command listing for exit game as it should be.

That was really strange indeed.
