Yes. Much better than the first one.

It's a prequel of the first episode of Alien, but this time the creatures are not the main focus of the movie... it's based on the "Ancient Astronauts" concept.

Gah, I hate trailers showing the whole plot line. Lessee, Prometheus goes to planet, species there just waited for proof mankind has evolved enough and start towards earth, Prometheus rams ship and safes the day, Space Jocky crash lands and stage set for the original Alien movie.

Guess I'll go watch it anyways.

I agree, some parts of the plot has been revelead... but most is still hidden.

Still I'm going to watch at least 10 times... when I was eleven I was playing the Aliens (2nd movie) videotape every day after school... and today still I watch the movie if I catch it on some channel.

Yeah, been a huge fan of the original first two movies myself. Really, really looking forward to it, if for the epic scenes alone.
Only thing I am wondering about is how the (original) Aliens fit in here, if at all.

I am so looking forward to this....

Although this film focuses on the Space Jockey, rather than the "Xenomorphs" we all know and love, I can only hope it redeems the series after that awful "Alien Resurrection". I am still incredibly bitter about that "film"......

From various things I have read leading up to the trailer's release, the underlying storyline is not that far removed from that of 2001 and plays with the whole Von Daniken/Stitchin "Alien gods" concept.

Looks like fun! What with Iron Sky on the horizon too, it seems to be a good time to be a movie fan.

Yes, Ridley Scott want to stay far from the last movies (above all the horrible AvP).
