Actually two static objects named "MG Team" would be useful to make a position more "lively". What I mean is a light Bren (for the Brits) and a light MG 34 (for the Germans) and a crew for that MG (three for the MG 34, don't know how many for the Brits). I know it won't make much of an impact but at least it would add some infantry fire to a static position.
And while we're at it ... how about a mortar for each army (i.e. 81mm Granatwerfer 34 for the Wehrmacht)?
