" then open each mission and deselect the player aircraft and then change all of the ai aircraft in the missions to flyable."

Not necessarily. In most coops you will have a mix of both flyable and AI planes.

Depending on the mission, you will need to decide which planes will be flyable and which will be AI. Simply making every plane flyable is not the best idea for a coop. Some thought has to be put into it.

Yes ok, i was not thinking too well was i

Looks like i may have too add some more planes so it can be flyable from both sides and still have enough ai to make it interesting. I was wanting to ramp it up a little bit so that will work well.

I have only ever made single mission and campaigns never coops so this is a bit of a learning experience..but i do have a couple of beta testers who will be flying the missions and giving feedback

Is there any specific things i need to be aware of when making a coop regards the campaign file ? will it still run from mission to mission or is it just as easy to keep it as single mission files and the players select the next mission once one is finished ?

If I'm remembering correctly (I'm not in front of my gaming computer) you can do either, some squads run online campaigns, others just do missions. I'm a fan of the "mission pack" myself, so that you can either run it like a manual campaign or "mix and match" as you and your crew's mood changes. (my squad typically has a short attention span, so it's usually mix 'n match.) On the other hand if someone says "do you have another one like that?" you can be the hero and say "why yes, yes I do"

If you have Quick Mission Tuner, it has a function where you can batch process a whole campaign folder to coops in one shot, then go in and fine tune in FMB as necessary. They usually need tuning for coops.
