I have the 'English_Channel_1940_10752x9216_terrain' file - is that the one you guys want? I've lost track... 90 MB PDF, am happy to upload somewhere.

Its pretty much completed other than the French Rail system. I will figure out a compromise regarding size and put it somewhere for downloads.

many thanks to the people making these maps, looks like it would have been a big job !

does anybody have experience having these larger maps printed at a commercial printer place ? is it possible for ex to have them printed on silk or canvas type material instead of paper ?

or is paper best and then have a thin lamination layer over the top (to prevent an often used map from tearing, or even allow erasable drawings to be made over the map for specific missions for ex)

My own personal choice would be on paper, then laminated, because then you can mark the maps for missions (course, turning points, timings etc) and erase the marks afterwards.
