Overclocking the cpu might not help at all.
My PhenomII 1100T reaches about 45%max. with everything maxed out. Your GPU and VRam is the limiting factor. So, save your CPU and save for a newer, better GPU with at least 1GB VRam.

I have good gameplay with my DuelCore 2.7Ghz (after upgrading to a good 1Gb GFX card). Like others say - a better card will make a significant difference.
