The current version of DGen is a little bit strange, most new Allied planes are flyable in European campaigns, but not in Pacific campaigns. New Axis planes are usually only flyable if they are variants of plane types that are supported by DGen, for example new Bf-109 or FW-190 models. One of the reasons to create the new DGen is to allow the use of all new planes in DGen campaigns.
And, just to avoid any misunderstandings, for those who haven't read the topic at SAS, I am not the developer of the new DGen, I am just doing the testing.
