Why would anyone lied about minimum specs, as you are suggesting, (and thus accusing 1C for lying)? And why would anyone believe in such lie?

If you really believe what you have wrote here, you are the one who needs reality check, and possibly specialist help.

Believing in lies, or take the lies as normal (like you did in your post), and especially believing that the other people believe in the same lies or delusions as you, tells much about person's psychological and mind frame and person's inner world.

Of course, I grant that you could just not expressed yourself precisely

I suggest the book "Political Ponerology" by the late Polish psychologist Andrew M. Lobaczewski on that mater.

Minimum specifications usually means that you will play the game, but not with all of its features and graphic quality. When Clod was released it wasn't playable even with the highest official specifications.

I believe that specifications given by 1C was true at the time, and that along the way something went wrong/ or someone didn't do his job. Also I believe that this game (yes its game actually) will be OK and shine again in few months.

Meanwhile, reality says that this game still is not finished, and not OK.

for me the whole forum becomes very suspicous in the last time. all my threads concerning my dissatisfaction with the game are deleted as they don't fit in the vision of some people. if you censor everyone whos not praising this "game" then you don't even need a forum. its rediculous and youre wiping out the former fans of this sim and you lose customers for your next sims.

Constructive criticism wasn't deleted/censored here.
And, this forum is for fans or wannabe fans and people who hope this sim will succeed, if you left this community, don't whine here.

Before you start calling people liars you should read your own statements. What you said there is a lie in itself. COD was playable at release, I played it from day one on the PC in my specs.

Did I have stella performance? No, but long before release the Oleg stated that the sim would be unplayable on maximum settings on current hardware and if I remember rightly that medium setting were what we should be expecting to play on at release. But still some people got the sim, put all the slide to Max and then started complaining about performance issues.

Go figure!

Did Oleg say that before the 2006 release date? Or maybe the 2008 one?

I agree, I played it from the start on:

i7 920 2.67Ghz
2GB RAM
NVidia GeForce GTS 250 1GB
Win XP

The processor ain't bad but the graphics card and memory are pretty low spec compared to most of you guys. Not perfect but very enjoyable experience all the same. The crashes are annoying I admit but I know they'll address that in the near furture.

They've given me a taste of what they're aiming for and it's definitely something worth the wait. It'll be a kick ass sim just like IL2 given a little time and patience. Remember...good things come to those who wait.

Default Playable?

Ok these are examples not quotes, rant/ton o text below.

Playable is very subjective. Some ppl are fine with 10fps others need 60fps and comparring Cod to a game with a big budget and two years old to CoD is unfair. Sure Mass Effect2 or whatever plays great/80 fps on all kinds of pc configs but thats completly different. Also whoever said CoD is not playable is dead wrong! maybe it doesnt play on there pc or doesnt have all the stuff IL2 does after 10 years but then they should write a letter to there pc telling it to upgrade and it sucks cuz it doesnt play todays games at max or wait 10 years and come back when CoD is "finished" oh wait they can do that with il2 now!

On the other hand there are several other games on the market today that no hardware exists to max them out, I wish more ppl would keep that in mind when they decide to tell the world not to play/buy the last realistic ww2 cfs in the world cause it doesnt play on there hardware(or maybe it does but there to lazy to fresh install there hdd or tweak there settings properly).

Also from what I have seen if you have a 32 bit OS or less then 1gb vram/4gb ram you will struggle more then others.

Default Yup Playable

Yup It's Playable for 25 to 35 minutes...right up to the crash or freeze... Thats what we see in MP.. I have had flights of over an hour single player..but that is still rare. Nothing worse than working a dogfight..get the bandit in your gunsight...about to pull the trigger and BAM! Freeze/Crash...

For me and our group it is MP we most enjoy...Too frustrating right now so It's shelved for now... Back to IL2 4.11 for BoB.. Maybe one day CLOD will become stable... Until then...there are many good Sims to fly

Sure would be nice to get another Friday update...been almost a month..At least tell us of any progress on the launcher error... That is the game killer
