Default Spitfire aileron triming.

Hopefully everybody will be able to see this and it wont be region restricted.

41:10 is enlightening, was this used just on specific models or all of them and if so why can't we have the option to pre-set trim on the ground like the 109's elevator setup?

If you can't see it it's basically showing aileron trim being set by bending the trailing edge of the aileron itself using a block and hammer.

Yes, it's been brought up before and would be a nice addition. You would have to nominate at what airspeed you want the plane trimmed for level flight, though. I understood that they were usually trimmed for combat, or pretty close to top speed, which would have made cruising uncomfortable for the pilot just as it is for us.

That's one of the good things about the CH Fighterstick, it has trim for aileron and elevator on the stick which adjusts the pots, I made a mark so that I could get them back to neutral easily

Interesting. You could probably do this manually, too, since there is a centre aileron command. Just set the stick slightly off centre in the direction opposite the roll and then use the centre ailerons command. A bit of guesswork and you'd want to be able to reset quickly.

I think this is not a "set your default center position for aileron axis" function, but "return your ailerons to center if you are playing with keyboard" function.

I could be wrong though, if anyone is willing to test it let us know how it goes.
