IL2.exe failing to run on new rig

Do you have the downloaded version of the sim or is is the CD version?

Also are you running the '46 version or another that is patched up to date?

The reason Im asking is the possibility of not installing a patch correctly, or the possibility of the downloaded version causing issues. I have the downloaded version, and there are certain things that are different on this, not letting me do certain things.

Just a suggestion to hit the little things first to write them off.

I see you are running DX9, is there an interferrence with DX10 somewhere you dont know about? I dont know if this would be an issue or not.

The problem is the dvd burner. I had an issue with the 1946 cd and my dvd burner, the game ran but when i closed it, the computer would freeze.

You need the no cd .exe file and it will fix your problems. The copy protection in the cd sucks monkey balls
