Did you note where I said I landed?
 The real problem bases are Maidstone and Rochester. Maidstone's spawn points will put you in ground so rough you should be in a tracked vehicle, and Rochester spawns two planes on top of one another causing both to explode. A base closer to London would be a good idea though, I agree. That said almost all the action is over the Hawkinge/Lympne area, so spawning anywhere else is really a non-issue. The Axis fliers have not much to worry about at all though. The RAF has no capable attack aircraft at this point in time. Historical, but boring.
