I take it, then, that you are the kind of chap who will read a sign saying : 'dogs must be carried on lifts' and assume that it means you need a dog in order to use it NOTHING is black and white. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence will research a game before buying it, and if they read the development topics, they would be misled.

Here, as I posted before, is the best example. The release videos. All filmed at 1/8 speed because the game wasn't playable at those settings. That is misleading, and for newcomers to the sim could entice them to buy it. It is false marketing.
