Steam & new patch Please Help me -Cannot start the game at all

I will try this chivas....and i really thank you for your advice

when you do that you be able to start the sim with the new patch?

i did it chivas .....end nothing...

well, I would try two things first...

1. Open Steam, open game library, Right click on COD, select Properties, Select Local Files TAB, Select Verify Integrity of Local Game Cache.

if still fails to start...

2. Open Steam, open game library, Right click on COD, select Properties, Select Local Files TAB, Delete Local Game Content plus go here C:\Users\USER NAME\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover and delete CACHE and re-download.

If still fails to start...

Need to look for a dmp file and send to this forum or try Tech Help.

the following helped me:
i disabled the automatic update function in STEAM
than i enabled it again , and the download of the patch started.
