It's not something that concerns me now as I go closed pit, but I do know that the guys at UKDedicated campaigned for the F6 'off' for years, literally, and it never happened.

One of the things they do over there is B-17 formations, which using externals they can fly, but obviously not bomb accurately with.

Of course this means with externals on, everyone can use F6 to lock a bad-guy and then use the 'sixth sense' to avoid his/her attack.

Along with the F6 being disabled, it should also mean that the red and blue arrows at the screens edge should be switched off when F6 is disabled.

But I'd vote for F6 disable anytime.

I think I'll have to aggree, I just don't know what difference it makes at this point. At some level I think, "Hell,the game is broken anyway,either you can trust your opponents or not". On the other hand there is the desire to take away the temptation to 'cheat' a little.

I would certainly like to see the ability to go external while your wheels are on the ground, to help in negotiating busy airfields in locked pits settings.

I often fly with closed pit, but F6 is quite a nice view for video makers, so I'd vote for F6 remaining as an option.
