There is also one thing, which I did not do previously and had an impact on my game:
- Please open your conf.ini and make sure the anti epilepsy filter is turned off (set to 0). After turning it off, my performance became very similar to the one from the 1.02. Before doing that, I had about 15 fps less, even the AE Filter was unchecked in my settings. So, all the Gents, who claim that the performance is much worse, please check the conf.ini! As for the bugs, I would like to ask the Dev Team to rework the low res, non-detail ground textures which still have the old color palette. If someone like me is using the landscape detail set to low or medium, it can be easily spotted, because the color difference is huge and the higher you are, the worse it looks like. Lucas |

nothing to do with ANTI ep filter not even in my config ini, and yes the small hot fix from the 6th is installed.
other than that cant wait to get me a 120hrz monitor when they come down in price to try out my NVIDIA 3D.

Flying on ATAG over French coastline tonight, large sections of land became black (no texture). Also, while chasing a plane across the channel, ships were hovering in midair upside down and listing (as if sunk).
Also, where the land was black, grass was in mid air, maybe 1000 ft up. Yikes. Core i7 940, GTX580 with up to date NON-beta drivers, 12gb ram, running CloD from 128gb SSD, SB X-Fi card, MSFFB2 stick, Track IR. Win 7 Pro 64bit

Installed the patch and the hotfix, cleared the cache and loaded a flight and watched the black death.
Looks great now. The cockpit looked terrible at first now looks good. Maybe it looks different at different times of day. I can't work out why it looked so bad at first but fine now. FPS has dropped quite badly. Black death dropped from around 55-60 to 25-30fps! and minimum has dropped from 18 to 5fps. In the cockpit flying low the fps is barely playable and I had to drop the rez from 1600x900 to 1366x768 to play at all. hi folks!
I ve played now a little time and would revert my opinion. Especially online things work much better now. Its really fun to fly online. On the other handside, if i dont set the details to max. the framerate also is ok. So I ve to say, that you ve done a good job! Except this I still could not figure out why the sim stutters always when wingmen are talking / and the text is displayed... any one else got this issue? Greetings Daniel |
