Well folks I haven't read many reactions, I just know what I think of the patch and its GREAT.

The teams that put the maps together did an unbelievable thing, working for so long on something special. Also the other modifications add to yet more immersion and realism.
As a mission/ DF map builder I see how a map like Slovakia can even change the way players approach the game! The new airfields are very good, offering more possibilities and they also look realistic, even more so than before (maps like Northwest Europe already had a new airfield look&feel) and players love it, specially the grassy square fields.
Flying across the map with this much variation in elevation really adds a dimension to the flying.

If I state stuff about maps, its almost as if that were the only thing that came with 4.09 but thats not true of course. The other changes are very good also!

Just finished a campaign (available at mission 4 today) and the skinners, testers and I know what it means if you build something that is a big project considering we all do that in our spare time.

So from me to the people that made this patch: Thank you very much indeed for adding a dimension, your dedication to quality really shows, you did a fantastic job!
