It used to be a cultural thing but now I find that it happens in every country in every walk of life. I'm talking about over promising and under delivering.

I don't get the reasoning behind it. If I were Luthier I would have said "sometime next week" even I knew it wouldn't be out in time so it bothers me that people do this, why don't they give themselves some breathing space and manage people's expectations?

I know he said "no earlier than Monday" but he shouldn't have mentioned a day at all. I'm not surprised, I wasn't expecting it to be on time.
