Sorry mate. Don't think that graphicscard will run CloD even on the lowest settings.

Also I don't no much about AMD processors but your old 4800 series is probably faster then a 5450. Last edited by r0bc; 08-30-2011 at 09:59 PM. |

Others may disagree, but you likely need at least an i5 cpu and a graphics card with more than 1GB vRAM.

A Core i3 2100 is still dual core but it has Hyperthreading. If it were me I'd try to save my money alittle longer and get the Core i5 2400 Quad Core, its about $60-$70 more where I live...but that's just me, and you want either 4GB or 8GB of ram not 6GB when you have 4 dimm slots.
I haven't had much experience with ATI lately but the HD 6870 or HD 6950 could be okay, maybe some ATI guys can help recommend something. If you were going Nvidia I'd recommend a GTX560, I got a GTX460 in my home theater and its pretty good. Just do some research, check the reviews and don't jump the gun...I no that's hard when we get the upgrade bug. |

I agree with Muzz and r0bc.
With an Intel i5 2500k CPU you can overclock close to 4GHz with stock cooling and up to 5GHz on air and wh knows, perhaps even higher with liquidcooled. CloD and other modern games utilize all four coures. Pair that CPU with a HD6870 graphicscard and you've got a machine that will run CloD on max. Good luck. |
