Default I found a house on the train tracks

I found this while looking around at Trencin( not that it needs to be fixed mind you,just an FYI )

Great stuff overall.

spotted an odd artifact on Slovakia map
location Trencin D9
TOD= 1800


Is it my rig or the map?
AMD3200Xp . ATI1600 512mb , 2G ram

It is the game, in particular the way shadows are drawn.
Shadows are laid on the ground (they are just simple images), they don't bend around corners so they keep going straight even when the hilltop is reached.
in the morning and evening hours there are longer shadows so the effect shows more easily and the castle on that hill shows it extra clearly.

So it is neither you rig or the map, it's the game.

Hi PanP, Trencin is the only city not finished yet so you´re right.

You can get rid of those castle shadows by changing the parameter LandShading=3 to LandShading=2 in the OpenGL section of the conf.ini. But you will lose all shadows cast by objects except the trees.
