I lived 12km from the airport know for their vintage airplanes, most fames being Steve McQueen and his airplanes, one being a Pitcairn PA-8 mailwing which I worked on(detailing) fancy word for cleaning. He lived in the hanger in Santa Paula,CA. however it was 4 yrs ofter his death that I started detailing private airplanes. Some one offerd me a job because I was hanging around the airport too much, like that's possible. Now I will have to travel 2hrs to visit that little airport. Thanks.
