Just wait for the new patch and decide then, if you go with the 1.5 or 3 Gig version.

Thumbs up

Again, very happy with mine,it was undoubtably the best upgrade I made on my bit of kit.

I have the ZOTAC 1.5 GB version and it runs COD very sweetly.

I was following vids like Tuckie for a while then went and got a 3gig gainwood gtx580 so amazing and can run every game full graphics above 60fps.

Besides 3gig is better for the long term. I swapped to the 3 gig from gtx 285 sli.

I play COD and Arma2ao all the time in full glory. SOOOO HAPPY!!!

In almost every case the 3GB card is slightly slower than 1.5GB reference card...most likely due to higher latency from the 64x32 modules and increased memory controller overhead....
I'd buy the cheaper one

My EVGA GTX 580SC has been flawless with my i7 2600k in both IL2 and RoF with everything maxed out. RoF has been particularly impressive, I mean its damn near photo-realistic.
I wish I had something to tell you in reference to CoD but I just wasn't impressed enough with it to bother installing it on my new build.
Regardless I dont think youll be missing out on anything whichever way you go 1.5 or 3ghz, both will serve you very well.

Firstly its a brillant card both the 1.5g or 3.0g versions, secondly strange that no one has mentioned this, your 6 gigs of ram is been wasted on a 32x operating system, and thirdly you need to update your cpu to a quad core. Installing a 580 currently on your system specs will bottleneck the card, and it will be handicapped mostly by your dual core cpu.
