Jafa...thank you. Great work and worth the wait!

A few Questions

I was able to install your sounds without any probs and they do sound wonderful. But was told that when you create a launcher shortcut and modify the target line, example jafa.audio...you just add this to the last mod line you have. In this case my target line was "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\Launcher.exe"*-mod=MODS\_testmod -mod=MODS\BpSoundSuiteLite.

BP's sound mod was working fine with his splash screen, etc, but when I added -mod=MODS\Jafa.audio to the end it would only run Jafa mod. My questions are...

1. Is there a way to have seperate launcher shortcuts for each mod and is this the best way to go?

2. I have installed the Generic Mod Enabler but it doesnt seem to work. Does anyone else use or should I delete.

Thanks again Jafa for all your work.

Yes all you have to do is right click your Launcher.exe and use send to desktop create shortcut,
And then use each shortcut, with a difrent mod
hope this helps

Yes. Thanks. BP said you just add each new mod line to the launcher shortcut target but I didnt have any luck with that approach. Also, I thought the GME was supposed to allow you to run multiple mods at once but it seems you need a seperate launcher shortcut for each.

Generally speaking, until there's a clearly defined list of what's allowed and what's not by Valve's anti-cheat feature, the consensus is not to use mods online on a "just in case" basis.

According to this thread the mod alters some of the flight model characteristics (engine RPMs actually) in order to achieve the proper sound result, which would be a big no-no in terms of online anti-cheat checks even when a finalized "cheat list" is used by VAC.

I'm not saying the intent is malicious or that it confers some kind of advantage (i'm pretty sure Jafa just wanted to get his sounds right, not help us cheat online), just saying that FM changes of any kind are very high on the list of things to get banned for: VAC can only know if certain files it checks are modified, it doesn't know the result of such changes or the intentions of the end user.

No It Doesn't and is the reason why my earlier version was withdrawn , the fm in this version is the latest and untouched apart from the attachment of the audio tags , and as for useing any mod online even trees-I wouldnt risk it
