Let me make some things clear to you all.

This game has potential, as long as the developers are working on it.

The developers will work on it, as long as they are paid.

They are paid, as long as there is a prospect for potential revenues from future customers.

The future customers will only exist (considering this is a niche market game) if the current customers are happy about trade's fairness (the release state of the game, current state of the game and the fixing pace in order) to become future customers.

The current customers were profoundly unstatisfied with the release state, generally not satisfied with the current state of the game nor with the pace of developer's fixing the sale-advertised/minimum game necessary broken systems nor with the lack of constant communication regarding the fixing progress.

The developers can't change the current game's state over night, nor increase the fixing pace..

So, what simple logic tells you is the solution to make current customers happy enough in order to secure future sales (and eventually fullfil the potential of the game in order to widen the potential-customers area)?!!

I think your simple logic fails... Let's just say, there is still a hope among customers, that this game will get repaired over next several months. It is based partly on blind faith, partly on the rest of the customer trust in Luthier's words. As we have one more wise saying in czech - Hope dies as last...

obviously, any reasoning, no matter how logic, must bow before the reality's cruel truth..

PS: i think you've missed the third reason which could make customers happy enough

I agree that no more words will make anyone here happy anymore... Majority just want to see fixes of bugs reported and classified as urgent by THEM. Next one is - as soon as possible.
I think that last rebellion here was based on perception that nobody in MG really care what they say or want or even bother to communicate with them. This is absolutely understandable. At least for me. Because I understand also, that the most important subject here are customers, it is the central point around everything else should move. At least in my business model.

OK, let's say - to be positive - that plan currently (as this makes only sense to me) - the real plan, is to make Battle of Moscow as soon as possible and focus only on that - in this Addon the most of critical bugs will be repaired. But nobody will care anymore about BOB in this phase... Or, if they are not dependent on the sales revenues, as they can have some sponsor in golden mine owner from Siberia, they will fiddle and mess around with BOB only for the rest of this year...

You fly other IL-2 titles?

If so, your statement above are really poor. All IL-2 titles are INTEGRATED. MG will not "abandon" CloD for Battle of Moscow...

You really need to be quiet and stop the nonsense. Battle of Moscow will use the same engine as CloD. "Focus" in Battle of Moscow is "focus" in CloD.

I believe this is obvious. But as far I can see, isn't to some...

totaly true, if the Moskau AdOn will be mergable with CoD the main gameengine/GUI issues might be fixed.
Lets hope for the smaller, but still annyoing bugs for the 'typical' BoB planes...........

I just can remember that Oleg said years ago that making Pacific Fighters mergable was not easy - and he wished he had not to do so. Lukily he did

I also belive, the main plan is to work on the EasternFront adon, fix the engine and make it mergable. But actually we dont know.

interesting thoughts and very important. Where does this mythical SDK play its part in this i wonder. i cant possibly imagine these differing game engines will be so different as to not warrant a merger. Its my belief that COD suffers of the back of the fact that someone else was incharge at one point. I think BFM should not have quite as much teething dffculty. if it doesnt agree with a cod install and requires a tandem install then there are big problems for us bob fans. Could it be the series really kicks of with BFM ??? i dont think so i think COD will rear its ugly head once again within BFM as blossoming butterfly free from its initial cocoon. evolvment is part of why we suffer with cod presently and also why we can see a bright future. This was proven before.

Truth?

You mean FACTS? You never gave any.

You mean whiner-fabricated truth? I wholeheartedly agree.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you don`t represent the customers. No one has given you a voice for this. Please do not post false information. We have many satisfied customers too.

Glad you finally came to understand that 4 months after release.

Actually, many posts including the most recent ones by American customers show that many people do not transform into screaming brats overnight. Some poeple actually remember what 1C did with IL2 and they also give them some more time. Further development of this particular title can never be a part of your negative only contribution here.
