Yup your right mate, it is screwed up blatently. But i dont think Oleg is to blame, i think that rests firmly of the shoulders of the people who perhaps forced him out, by all the snippets we have read it seems that leaving was not by choice.

Maybe thats the truth of why the game is the way it is, filter be damned we already know it was an excuse.
Maybe Oleg really did take his personal work with him because of the conditions of his leaving? I think If, and I mean If, how it appears to me is true, I wouldnt leave em anything.

Aye ! you dont take someones baby away and not expect repurcussions. maybe replace repurcussions with consequences given the artistic nature of the assets at hand.

Well what makes this theory feel right for me is Oleg said he was very pleased with the Binural sound and as an example of this we saw an early alpha E3 Video with Binural Sound, he leaves because of what ever bad blood and it goes with him, and we get a makeshift placeholder disaster that we have now. Makes sense to me.

I have to laugh that when someone posts wild speculation in this forum after a couple of further posts it all hardens into incontrovertible fact.

We're currently two steps away from constructing the latest conspiracy theory.

Back on topic: I too was very disappointed not to get the Su26. It would have given a nice change of pace and opened up some different possibilities.

Controls in COD are much much better than IL2 for aerobatics.
We were finally about to get a very good aerobatic simulator, the only one. What a waste...

Where is the Su26 ?!

We are still waiting it and it's boring, seriously boring.
