well my experience is with the emil only,which at least for me, seems to overheat much quicker with the same radiator settings online than offline.

Have you enabled temperature effects? Full real MP servers will enforce this, hence the difference.

Taking off in a spit or hurri with the radiator closed, after 30 seconds or less I get engine shake for a second and then the 'water radiator perforated' message. Same in MP.

yes i always play with full difficulty settings.
and i think after the last patch, i can fly offline with totally closed oil radiator for some time without having problems.will test how long it takes to damage the engine.will give feedback later or tomorrow

A "just in case" scenario: check to see if your offline difficulty settings haven't been accidentally reset by patching/verifying files via steam/getting the new config files.

no they are as i want them to be.just yesterday i disabled steam cloud again, because i get weird problems with it,..so i had to load my controll settings and configure everything new, like plane skin and convergence,pilot and also difficulty settings.
