Luthier did say in one of his posts that everyone has a right to be totally pissed at the condition of the sim. That said the developer was between a rock and hard place before release. Letting the customer know exactly how incomplete the sim was could have been catastrophic. Many people could have held off buying, effectively killing the sim. That is exactly the case. I know I would hold off if such info broke loose. I did exactly that with the epilepsy filter which was my no 1 complaint. It went away. Now when I bought the game it was pretty bad, but not nearly as bad as many whiners were saying. Still playable to a satisying degree. Few weeks later the fps doubled and I was able to go sightseeing. It was a fair deal from the start.
