That just got to be some unforseen consequence of some other change because they can't possibly think it should look like that. I tried the 109 and it's shinier than the most polished NMF warbird I ever saw. I'm sure that wasn't intentional - or at least praying it wasn't...

I am almost certain its the weathering layer they have enabled thats causing it, load a hurricane up in QMB, then push the weathering slider all the way you will see besides the obvious scratches etc that it's marginally duller than if you had have left it.
Would be nice to have a button or something to switch that off, I havent had a good sniff around the conf.ini so there might be something in there, the last patch was perfect for me being as there was only a eggshell shine.

Tell you something though the bare metal underneath looks superb.
