The first addition to my pilots log book is from today, yes I'm back in the skys!

I want to thank a few people: JRHOODY1, a0000000000123 (not sure how many 0's. Sorry) McQ, vdomini, themeister and a quite drunk QBlack
(and others)
You all made my first day back behind the joystick enjoyable!

Black's idea for a 1 bomber protected by two guys and taken out by three attackers proved very fun! I flew a blenheim, protected by blaack who flew my wing while Vdomini fought off copious attacks by a0000000000123, Wild_Bill and McQ. We took the long road past Catalonia, straight to the back of the map and round to the top two targets, dropping 2 500kg bombs from about 250ft. That won us the round really. Bloody good fun, even though it was 10 mins of sneaking around the back of map to drop 2 bombs and head home

Hope to play more tomorrow!

As for this thread - post any thankyous or awesome things that happend, here. Great to see so many fliers still! Here's to more hours in the log book!
Great thread!!

A few of us 360 players are currently trying to sort something similar out, its a long way off yet though due to looking for a good target, right altitude to bomb from, route to and from target etc etc.

Had a quick gamethe other night though with Robotic Pope and Bucketman..

Pope was flying a HE-III and had to bomb Hawkinge. For this he started off over France. Bucket was in a 109 a provided lone fighter escort.

I on the other hand fleww patrols from Dover in a Hurricane prepared for them.

After what seemed an eternity i saw a lone shadow in the distance, i had the advantage of height. Upon closer inspection it was the HE-III. using my superior height i dived down upon the bomber and opened up with the 12 brownings. Taking it out rather quickly. Within seconds i had a 109 on my 6, chasing me around the sky.

Didnt matter though... i got the HE-III

We are trying to find the best kind of cover for a bomber if your a fighter. Were still working on it.
