Yes that's right, the picture was taken at Capel le Ferne but I can't remember which TP'er took the picture...pretty sure it was Prangster or Malc.
The Tangmere Pilots comprises 4 Hurricane squadrons (1, 43, 145 & 601) which were stationed at Tangmere at the start of the Battle of Britain on 10th July 1940. Co-incidentally our last meetup a few weeks ago was held at the fantastic Tangmere museum.

For me Il2 1946 died when I purchased Clodo. But after two weeks trying to play Cliffs of Dover, IL2 resurrected stronger than ever. Never before in the history of the sims had a new simulator made everybody loved their older sims (contrary to what usually happens: new games make old ones seem old-fashioned and obsolete). Long live IL2 1946

Yep fantastic, much better than CLOD (Multi-player), the Battle of britian server is a great place to get started.

IL1946 died for me long time ago, when I saw a guy who flew fw190 and fired accurately from a distance of 2km.

A month ago on the BoB server I saw a Hurricane which flew with the speed of Mig-9, it was pathetic...
