It's really simple, people 'whinge' as you put it, becasue they shelled out money on a borderline unplayable piece of software - which ultimately is detrimental to the genre as a whole - your POV is something like 0.01% of the general public's POV - most will buy, try it, find it's not all it's cracked up to be and ditch it and move swiftly onto something else - it really is that simple.

What's not 'to get'?

Personally, I bought it, tried it, and moved onto better things - I suspect that's what most do.
