Try higher filtering/smoothing (I dont remember teh name) setting for Z axis in freetrack

I'm using freetrack rather than TIR. I don't think the prob is one of the things Charvel mentioned as it all works fine in IL2. If I do obscure the LEDs, FT locks up (as you'd expect) and the shaking stops - so it is about FT. I tried Shift F1 - this stops the shaking but limits my FOV to 180 degrees - ie I can only look out at 90 deg either side of my direction of travel.

The problem seems to be connected to 6doF, in particular in the Z plane. If I "lean" fully in or out, it stops - any position in between causes shaking

This could work but bear in mind the more smoothing you use the more response lag you introduce which can detract from quicker head movements which makes it feel a bit sluggish much like mouse lag.

Janpitor - I have the smoothing whacked to the max. I also tried turning the z axix "off", but neither of these help.

Since UP 3.0 I've tried 6DoF in IL2 now, and get the same issue, so I assume it must be down to my Freetrack profile in some way. I'll have to delve deeper. Thanks for the suggestions.

Ted
