tried rc3 of catalyst's hotfix and nothing has changed... I don't know what is happening at ATI, the drivers get worse and worse...

Reverted back at 10.12hotfix, seems works better with IL2

Running win 7 , 64.
I have not put the Il-2 folder under (programs files x86) so it should be the x64, right?
Thanks, that would be appreciated.

No, its very smooth actually. I also have the 6950(Powercolor OCS++), which I have unlocked with 6970 bios. Works brilliantly for me.

Thanks for the file, will try it today.

Thanks albx,
That atiogl file fixed my flickering all over the place too!
It was getting so annoying!
Funny but I don't understand WHY that worked, since there was no previous atioglxx.dll file present in il2 1946 folder before I put it there?? (but I did notice that atioglxx.dll did exist in the windows system folders though).

And unfortunately it continues in the 11.6's, 11.7's and both 11.8 pre-releases. It's an issue with the AA. If you check the Use application settings the water is fine. Trying to post over at AMD and maybe 3D Guru....
