This doesn't work for me.
The odd thing is, the loss of sound seems Server dependent. I lose it on some but not others.

The loss of sound online is almost as important as the above, but no fix mentioned.

I've found two switches in windows: Sounds -> Playback -> [device] -> Properties -> Advanced -> Exclusive Mode
UNCHECK this.
I've just tried 4 servers, sounds are all on.
But, of course, I need to try more later.
