Oh sure, it could use some improvement but sound positioning and consistancy is working just fine. I used to get the "rolling" sound during take-off stuck playing throughout the whole mission but haven't even seen that happen since a couple patches.

So you might want to check your speaker settings in Windows being wrong or inconsistent with the game settings.

Works for everyone else? Have you read the latest patch thread? Also regarding the rolling wheels sound, I've had it since day one and I has been there ever since even though the developers insisted it was fixed. LOL! This is turning into top rate comedy, the developers fiddles with some new lightning effects whilst the sound engine isn't even working properly yet. For me, the point has been reached (reached it after the latest patch) where I simply don't care anymore. Fortunately I've got some grade A games backlogged that I'll be playing until CloD (beta) goes gold -for real this time- in July(?) and I'll check the game out again. Until then, World of Tanks is a good distraction + it's free!
