Won't be a miracle, it will be hard work. As for the product roll out, if you think the Dev's brough the DVD to the publishers and said "Here it is, its ready to go right now" you are an idiot. The world of publishers and producers is a fickle one.. I have NO inside info from this case, but I'd bet they were given a final hard date..either meet it or we move on and you move on with other projects.. they got out what they could and have been working their asses off to get it to where they want it to be. They get some sales and that buys them more time and now that they've shown that the product does in fact have some genre defining potential they will continue to build on this and it will just keep getting better and better..
Think about the man hours involved in this code.. its been worked on on and off for 6 years or more.. and in 5-6 weeks a few guys and been going 100% and have made big stride in fixing a massively complex pile of code.. I have a pretty good gaming rig.. not any 3X SLI madness.. just a good CPU and a good GPU card.. and I have had nothing but good performance..The game was playable for me even at release and now its playing by me at the highest settings at HIGH fps.. A lot of people are in the same boat as me.. others are having issues.. When it all shakes out a LOT of the issues are going to be G Card/Driver related..

My last info is that 1C/Maddox is an independent studio and UBI are the publishers for CoD. So, if they got pressured that hard by UBI, they should aim for making better contracts in the future. As for the 5-6 years in development (plus about 5 months for the US release) issue... well, they've done a great job in the (non-optimized) graphics department, obviously, plus the sophisticated FM/DM. But that's about it. I just fail to see that long development time paying off in any way. |

I have it ordered from Amazon.ca and I've got no word of another delay (still saying May 16-May 30).
Happy to wait for a box. I want a DVD for the collection (I have them all), and am interested to see how it plays when it finally makes it over here physically (and compare my initial experience to the reviewers). Carry on beta testing ![]() Cheers, Spinner |

Well Conio! (lol
![]() ![]() Like people said before, Justflight. c o m it or wait for it! Personally I purchased it over just flight living in the USA, the game is definately playable, with bugs every now and then and depending on your hardware (apparently latest hardware is not necessarily the best atm, but will be eventually i'm sure). If you got a quad core (above 2Ghz of frequency) with a descent graphics card (1GB of VRAM for the very least) and 4GB of ram, then you should be able to play it quite smoothly (in low/med settings)... If your comp is not as good as this then wait for it... cause you probably won't have anyfun playing it, just wait for further optimization. But if your comp is equal or better you could be having fun with it like some people on this forum. (But fair warning... Most people posting here are unsatisfied, the happy ones are just enjoying it, some post comments.) And lastly, If you buy the game for the Su 26, don't... They played a trick on us and did not implement it. Let's hope it is only temporary, but they avoid topics about it, nor did they ever released info on what happened to it. Anyways guess it all comes down to how bad you want a boxed version ![]() |

I've been putting up with the release pushbacks so I can get some work done, but enough is enough. Bought it through Just Flight, said I was in the USA, they told me to remove the game from the cart because I couldn't buy it, but I went ahead anyway. Got an activation code, put it on Steam, and it's downloading.
Need to cancel my steam preorder now too. I dare not hope it'll run on this crappy laptop, but we'll see ![]() |

Kaka, I take it you speak Spanish, if so yes, that is it but also "console input/output".
Regarding buying via jstflt etc. if we all do that, once the North America release comes out, the sales will be cero ![]() As for my machine, it is: ASUS CG5290 I7 2.67GHz 9GB Ram GTX260 1GB Windows 7 64bits |

I got it from Justflight and have been having a great time with it. My buddy is waiting for his amazon order... Think he is gonna be waiting a long time. I keep sending him screen shots of damaged Stukas plummeting to their demise. He has resorted to threatening me with bodily harm!
