If you have variable prop pitch propeller ( like it was in 109 E and early Spitfire and Hurrciane - 2 stage prop pitch) for reach maximum speed you need set coarse pitch.

In COD for reach maximum speed you have to set fine pitch ( both for 109 and Spitfire and Hurrciane) which is wrong.

With gaining speed you should have to adjusted prop pitch from fine pitch to coarse settings.

So in COD variable prop pitch which used 109 and UK fighters dont work correctly.

Strange, just took a hurry for a short test ride and at 6 000 feet, max throttle, it did app 220 mph at fine pitch and app 250 mph at course pitch.
