NOTE:
If you use TouchBuddy in 'Local' mode, where you have 2 monitors hooked to your game pc, you will need to change the 'mouseuse' cursor variable in the conf.ini. Otherwise, IL2 won't let the mouse cursor leave your main/game monitor. In network mode this is not an issue. - go to the iL-2 directory - open conf.ini - look for the [rts] section - change "mouseUse=2" to "mouseUse=1" - save file Quote:

I am hoping that BoB will export game data using LUA or something. We could write Plugins that graphiclly display that data. A plugin just has to have an interface that can be displayed in a IE Browser. If it can read the data, and display it in a IE Browser, then it can be used in TB. I have written several Plugins using VB6 ActiveX controls, which can be opened in IE. Quote:
TouchScreens: Touchscreens basically have wires coming out of them for the monitor, and also USB for the mouse. So a touchscreen is really 2 devices, the monitor, and a built-in glass mouse overlay. Wherever you touch, the mouse jumps to that position and does a click event on whatever is displayed at that spot. I have an Innovatek TFT Color Touchscreen TM-868 that I got off of eBay (from MP3Car.com) shipped to me for about $165 over a year ago. It has a native resolution of 640x480. The native resolution is important because screen font's only look at the native res. If I were to get a new one I would get an 8" - 10" with a native res of 800x600. Touchoverlays These are glass panels that you can get in many sizes and you put them over your monitor. They act as the mouse. |
