I suddenly lost all interest in upgrades, new games, life itself, even
How could they do this to us????!!!
But then some less negative comments started appearing...so I got a new rig, G940 combo and dusted off my Steam account.
I must have been lucky - it installed with no problems with the latest official patches applied, and ran fine without any tweaking.
I have to say this game is by far the most immersive, realistic and credible sim I've ever played, and the problems it still has aren't major issues. I'm fairly confident they'll be addressed in time, based on previous experience.

But here's a problem:

It's supposed to be a Battle of Britain sim, and is missing the single most innovative, technologically advanced, and just plain sexy British cannon fighter ever invented, which WAS in-service during the BoB.

So...

When, oh when, oh WHEN are we going to get a WHIRLWIND?!?!?!

Rant over?

I don't think so
Whining stops here?

OH please, it's not always about the late war planes? Oh that's right, this is early war but in what numbers?

How about they get the current planes acheiving performance specs first before catering to the complex requests of less 'promenent' aircarft.

Im afraid you will never get a Whirly.

It was an insignificant cul de sac, obsolete by 1943

Im sorry for you loss.

It would have been much more interesting to get a Whirlwind than a Moth, for instance, an aircraft most players will only fly once, just to see what it is.

Not really.
All pilots would have flown the moth, or perhaps Avro504, as a first step in pilot training.
Very very few pilots ever flew the Whirlwind.plus it was not in service in the time frame of the game at present

A training aircraft would be useful in the game, only if the other aircrafts were not so easy to fly.

Or perhaps the training missions a little more demanding.
The training in game is pathetic.Personally I would have structured it differently.
Something like First flight circuit and bump
Second flight first solo
Third flight Orientering fly from airfield one to airfield two try not to get lost.
Final training fighter type aircraft follow the leader
Then be assigned to a squadron.
But then again I would have made the Wellington flyable too.
