If the game is being patched so frequently, it may render mods incompatible with the new patches. Releasing a SDK for a game that's under constant change and patching may be counter productive.

However, a brief insight into how the sound engine is built would severely assist sound modders to allow them to easily incorporate new and improved sounds. At least get rid of the placeholders
