Same here hardware is in the sig. Crossfire works when I play the Black death track almost 100% on both cores. In game I get 1/2 crossfire.

1) Open steam, go to library, right click Cliffs of Dover, Select Properties and go to Local Files tab, click on Verify Integrity of Game Cache and let it run and download. 2) Go to \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\cache\ and delete everything in the main folder, keep the shaders folder but delete everything inside. 3) If you want to be sure your conf.ini is set to default just delete it in \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\ and it should make a new one next time you start up the game, you have to set your video settings again first time you start the game. 4) Download the latest patch and extract it to your desktop, then cut and paste all folders to \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\ selecting yes on any request to overwrite and copy and replace otherwise. 5) For ATI users go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\parts\core\GUI\ and rename the intro.wmv to something different or just delete it, just be careful as it might affect VAC cheat protection in the future when playing online, so far there seems to be no problem to do this though. Always best to start from a clean point, I also had graphical bugs like yours but following these steps cleared it for me and made the game run smoother overall. Hope it helps. |

So for future reference I'll be deleting the cache, conf.ini, rolling back and then applying beta patches to hopefully minimise issues

I have noticed that when I leave a server on steam that I have to go to windows taskmanager to quit game.. It is like it taking a long time to close.
I never had this problem at all until now. Just wanted to post here to see if anybody else is having the same issues. Thanks for your support. |

Downloaded and installed . I noticed a small improvement in fps overall..not much, maybe 5%. Offline my normal fps test missions ran without issues. Flying online other than the issues others have mentioned with the EXIT button and long load times I had a lot of micropauses despite high fps. My fps would go from 80's to 40's in a brief spike..almost looked more like a "pulsation" on the runway or at low altitude.. once at a reasonable altitude it went away almost completely.
Tried it offline over london and it seemed to be different.. smooth with an occasional hiccup.. One thing I did this time was I cleared my chache folder..I have never done it and it was loaded with a bunch of files.. I don't think its related at all..I wish I hadn't changed anything since I hadn't messed with the cache before so I don't know. Using Pseudo and Full Screen doesn't seem to matter for me..
